management plans set out the vision for coastal reserves, and are developed by
Committees of Management in accordance with legislation.
The plans help set the direction of the
committee of management in terms of actions and activities to take place on the
reserve, planned expenditure, and maintenance requirements.
Coastal management plans are public documents,
approved by the Minister for Environment, Climate Change and Water.
As part of the process in developing the
plans, drafts are available to the public to allow feedback and input on what
is proposed. Approved and draft plans will be published on this webpage.
