VicSmart Online Guide now live

30 June 2015

VicSmart is a streamlined planning permit assessment process for straightforward, low-impact applications such as simple land subdivisions as well as minor building and construction works.

There are a number of benefits to VicSmart applications including a 10 day permit process, no requirement for advertising, pre-set permit information requirements and permit approval by the Chief Executive Officer of local councils.

A new, easy to use online guide has been released to help applicants determine whether they are eligible for VicSmart. To use the new guide, simply enter a property address or select a property from the interactive map and the planning zones and overlays will be automatically retrieved along with a list of applicable VicSmart permit application types.

Use the online VicSmart guide or find out more information about VicSmart.
