Thank you for your input to the Climate Change Act 2010
review. The submissions were of great value to the review process, enabling us
to better assess the effectiveness of the Act and identify options to improve

A public submissions process was conducted from Monday 6 July until Monday 10 August 2015. The Victorian community was encouraged to respond to a set of questions (provided below) and/or the review's Terms
During the 5 week submission period 103 unique submissions were received from organisations and individuals. A further 1556 submissions were received from campaigns coordinated by two organisations.
1. How effective is the current Climate Change Act 2010in driving climate change action by government, business and the community?
2. What role should the Act play in:
a. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions?
b. Adapting and preparing for the impacts of climate change?
c. Growing a globally competitive Victorian economy?
d. Providing accessible information to the Victorian community on climate change?
3. Based on the Terms of Reference, is there anything else you would like the Independent Review Committee to consider when developing its report and recommendations?
Below is the complete list of submissions received by the Independent Review Committee. Submissions made by an organisation have been published in full and submissions made by an individual have been published anonymously.
Where submissions were identified as part of a campaign, these have not been published. Instead, the number received and examples have been published under the name of the organisation that coordinated the submission.
